Spaghetti Sunday

It was a beautiful Sunday….. and I want to cook my special spaghetti… heheh…. as usual… I need to shop for the ingredients… I have the spaghetti sauce and tomato Puree at home already… bought it last week at Tesco….


Ok… lets start with my dinner preparation… I bought minced meat, button mushroom, tomatoes at Tesco. Bought a pack of Pokka Green Tea as well… hehehe….. my Favourite…

As you can see, I have a bowl of garlic…. I’m a garlic eater… love garlic very very much… as you all know, garlic can prevent cancer… hahahahah……then I have this onion…. big big one…. from Australia …Sis love this as she said it does not have heavy smell and spicy… nice to eat wor….hhehehe… and also I love celery… never seen spaghetti with celery? Mine has!


After cutting the ingredients into cube, I prepared the noodle…..

First, boil a pot of water… add in some salt and oil into the pot….. waited it boiled…. then I throw in the spaghetti noodle…. I love “Angel hair”… unlike normal spaghetti noodle… it is fine… and nicer to chew……

It is cooked within a few minutes… Once it is done, take it out and put it in a big bowl. Add in some butter/margarine to make it smooth and softer… so that the noodle will not stick to each other and looks dry….


Next…. will start with the sauce….

Step 1: Pour in oil.

Step 2: Once oil is hot, put in garlic and onion…. stir fry until it smells nice

Step 3: Put in minced meat and stir fry until it is a bit cooked…

Step 4: Put in the spaghetti sauce and tomato puree. Add in some water to your liking…

Step 5: Add in tomatoes, celery, mushroom at this point of time.

Step 6: Stir the sauce until it is even. Let it boil then can off the stove.

Tada! The spaghetti sauce is ready by now!

Hehe…. actually… I forgot about my minced meat that I kept in the fridge… I remembered it after the sauce is almost done…. So I stir fried the minced meat with some oil in another pan. Here is the look of it:

It was 7pm that time… no more natural sun light and I’m using my HP to take the pictures… so… have to turn on the stove light to get a clearer look of the sauce….


Tada! The servering looks of my spaghetti… nice ler? I think so…heheh…yummy!

You can see the sauce is more than the noodle… well well… I just want the sauce more … not the noodle…this is homemade spaghetti…sure is sauce more than noodle la! Thats why I’m not used to eat the spaghetti made by others… hehehe…. especially in restaurant one… the noodle is always 50% more than the sauce… hate that very much.

*Phew* what a day…..
