Mom said she want to eat korean food when I asked her what she want to eat for mother’s day celebration… so I suggested that we should try Korea Palace since we haven’t try it before… and ate Daorae till sien d… so… ma si try this out…

I went to have lunch at Korea Palace with colleagues on Friday before Mother’s day’s weekend… I had their lunch set… not bad la… cuz that time not that many customers…

So I made reservation for Mother’s day dinner…. and requested for a private room….

We turned up there at 8pm…it was full house… super full with one or two families waiting….

I wanted to make my order… asked for the service twice… on the third request only got people come to serve us… ok… fine…

Ordered Kimchi Stew, 2 BBQ pork – one seasoned soy sauce, one seasoned red pepper…

Waiting for the food…the appetizers served after like awhile… but also need to wait 15 min…

Next came the Kimchi Stew… quite fast after the appetizers being served… but I have to request for the soup bowl for like 10000 zillion times… still no bowl =___=||| they said not yet wash on the last request >.< WTF!!!!!

In awhile they served us steam egg… compliment of the house… I have to say.. this one tasted better than Daorae one…. the only food better than Daorae

Then waited for the BBQ… also need me go ask them about our BBQ… they only realized they missed out our BBQ >.< wtf!

By the time we finished everything…. it was almost 10pm =___=||| so freaking slow la!!!

Arghhhh!!!!

To me…. Comparing the service, food, taste and price for Korea Palace and Daorae:

1. Service:

Korea Palace’s service damn sucks… not enough employee then employ more la! wtf!

Which Daorae is way better… they have more staff and more attentive staff…

2. Food:

Korea Palace: The complimentary steam egg is nice. BBQ also not bad. But the Kimchi Stew not super nice… very watery…

Daorae: The last tried BBQ wasn’t that satisfiying…the Kimchi Stew also very watery…. complimentary steam egg also watery…

3. Price:

Korea Palace and Daorae almost have the same price…

So far for me… I won’t be going to Korea Palace Crystal Point the second time… first impression wasn’t nice at all… service sucks! DON’T EVER GO THERE!

Darren ate before our food was being served… so he was too free when our food being served… he played with the tissue paper and threw it all on the floor. Caught him in action!  >.<

Last but not least… bought a Swatch red watch for mom.. forgot to snap pic so… now I’m officially broke again

Had a farewell with my colleague at TGI Fridays on the last Friday…. there were 15 of us…. the only one guy ordered his own share… rest of the pair of girls shared the 2 course meal each…. portion damn big

#4 – Dessert -> Mocha Mud Pie

>> We got sweet tooth and 5 of us shared this Mocha Mud Pie… soooo sweet… so long didn’t eat d…felt so nice…. but I just had a small share cuz I don’t really into chocolate and coffee stuff   Forgot to snap pic when the dessert is being served… after awhile only remember… lol.. so can see the in-complete shape

Anyway, wish my ex-colleague all the best in her future

LaMeiZhi – One of the steamboat shop that will open till late of the night … they have one shop in New World Park.. and another one at Kristal Point…I have tried both shop…

First time went there was an in promt tu… the man suggested there so we went… and he ordered a super spicy soup – 麻拉 aka ma la in English… he likes it… but I’m not so into it… the time we went to the town one I didn’t bring my camera… so cannot take pictures….

Went to both steamboat the man sure will order this… but I will never put this in my steamboat … he said it tasted like toufu…. and asked me to have a try… well… it does tasted like toufu… but with some fish smell in it…

I would say… the food portion is very small… and the bill add it is quite costly… so… I think it doesn’t really worth to dine in… The man likes it there thou

I wanted to watch this as the trailer shown it will be very exciting… I tried to purchase it from GSC website…. turned out Maybank2u was down for maintenance… and my stupid credit card got blocked for it’s “verfied by visa” password…. arghhh!!! Were in deep frustration! then all the seats I wanted got blocked cuz of the stupid incidents all.. =___=|||

End up I used another credit card which I never thought it will go through as I do not have the “verified by visa” thingy…. so I simply choose the seats… mana tau …. credit card approved =___=||| totally wana faint… lucky the seats not that front… still alright….

Back to the movie… erm…. I think it has too many conversation in it which makes it a very boring movie… they kept talking and talking… ok… FYI… the man felt asleep again! >.< and not only once… is like a few times… totally too many lines + he was too tired… so… =___=||| really wonder should I go watch Eng movie with him or not… *sigh*

Scarlett Johansson turned out to be a real hottie as everyone expecting… but she wasn’t showing off much of her sexy body.. just a short scene … hmm… it reminded me n the man of Jessica Alba’s sexy bod… especially the one in “Into The Blue” wah!!! Jessica Alba totally rocks!

Erm… total review…. not a bad one… just don’t put too much hope.

Pre-ordered this movie from GSC website on Tuesday/Wednesday… went to watch it on Sunday night 9.30pm show….

Well well well… I didn’t watch the first episod… lucky they have introduction on the earlier part… so I still get to know what is the story line aka catch the ball… lol….

The story was quite nice… it says clearly that Chinese shouldn’t be looking upon American/angmo so much… You should be proud of who you are… stand to the point that Chinese culture is what that made you today…. I like this kinda movie… cuz it was such an inspired movie to all the Chinese for not worthshipping the angmo so much… well… I’m not being bias… it is just that why should we look upon angmo so much where we have our own integrity to hold…

Ok… I’m a bit off the hook d…

Anyway…. this was a nice show… should go check it out…. but… one of the down side…. Donnie Yen’s make up was really really thick la!!!! Yo! Somemore show his close up so clearly =___=|||
