Movie Review: Salt

I had planned to watch this movie last week… but… due to friend got activity… so delayed it till this week….

Lucky that it wasn’t a disappointment… all the actions were quite facinating… :) Angelina Jolin definitely very good in all these kick-boxing show…. :)

Erm… one thing missing in the plot… is a handsome actor to match with Angelina Jolin… Normally her movie doesn’t have much handsome guy in it… except the one ~ Mr & Mrs Smith which has Brad Pitt….

Anyway…. I think there will be part 2 for this.. but… that’s only my prediction… :)

This is definitely a good show to watch… thumbs up for Angelina Jolin! :D

Synopsis:

As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who is Salt?”

How to cook spaghetti?

The easiest and the only food I know how to cook other than instant noodle is spaghetti! I’m a spaghetti lover and you  cannot find any shop selling this homecook spaghetti :D

Let Chef Ivy teach you how to cook spaghetti today!

Ingredients needed are actually based on what you want to put in your spaghetti… meat, prawn, fish, seafood, vegetarian, etc… is all depends on you.

But for me… I would normaly have mix vege and minced meat…

Alright, ingredient of today ~ this portion suitable for 4 adults:

- Spaghetti noodle ~ Angel Hair ( The best of all because it wasn’t too “fat” and it’s easy to cook)

- Butter ( enough to mix with the Angel Hair spaghetti)

- Cheedar cheese ( Any brand of cheesar cheese 3-4 pieces….cheaper compare to parmesan cheese)

- Capsicum x 1 medium size

- Tomatoes x 3 medium size (not too ripe because it won’t taste nice)

- Garlic ( to taste)

- Onion ( to taste)

- Celery

- Mushroom ( I prefer button mushroom.. but if don’t have, then can use normal chinese mushroom to replace it)

- Minced meat ( You can buy it directly from the pork stall. But that is not that hygeine. You can buy a piece of meat and chopped it into fine pieces…. but I forgot to buy minced meat.. so I use sausage and ham to replace it today…. )

- 250ml tomato sauce

- 300ml spaghetti sauce

- 1 table spoon of cooking oil

- a pinch of salt ( to taste )

The usual brand of Angel Hair you can get from the hypermarket is this:

>> Depends on the portion the adults want… I used almost half packet for 4 adults

>> The big bottle is the spaghetti sauce… use half of is which is almost 300ml…. and you need to mix it with 1 medium tin tomato sauce…

First, we prepare the spaghetti noodle… prepare a pot of water… pour in the cooking oil and salt… when the water boiled, put in the spaghetti noodle ~ Angel hair.. the Angel hair will cook in 2-3 minutes…

Get ready your butter… I used up 1/3 of the whole butter cup

When the Angel Hair is done, drain the water off and pour the noodle into the butter…..you do not have to melt the butter because the Angel hair still hot when you pour it into the butter…. mix it well and you got this:

You will see that the noodle will not has a smooth texture before you mix it with the butter. It will be in a sticky form which does not looks tasty anymore :)

In between the time of cooking the noodle, you can start to cut your vege and minced meat into small pieces….

Chopped capsicum and tomatoes:

Chopped celery:

Chopped mushroom:

Chopped onion and garlic:

Sausages and ham cut into small cubes:

Cheedar cheese-to-let-it-thaw which is easier for your cooking later:

Once everything is done, you can start your cooking on the spaghetti sauce:

First, heat up the cooking oil. Once it was heated enough, add in the chopped garlic and onion. Stir fried it till you smell pungent smell:

After that, add in minced meat … since I don’t use minced meat today… I will skip this step and pour in spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce…. add in enough water ….

Then add in all the other ingredient: celery, capsicum, tomatoes, mushroom, ham and sausages…

Let the sauce boil and add the cheedar cheese on top of the sauce:

Once the sauce boiled, it will melts the cheedar cheese… so you just have to stir fry the sauce slightly…

And that’s it! Tada! There goes your spaghetti sauce!

You can add in pepper if you like… for me I definitely love it! :D

Hope you enjoy this meal introduce by Chef Ivy! Till then, I hope I can share more on homecook food soon! :D
