My holiday post #8: Back to Perth again
Phew! Back to Perth again after my trip to Adelaide. We took midnight flight again… and we were flying with Tiger Airways again… lol…. so had to trouble Stephanie & Michelle to fetch us… and it was raining that night!!! Freaking cold >.< They even tapao/bungkus/ordered take-away KFC for us as our supper! But we were too tired.. so we went to sleep when we reached home…
Well.. Really thankful to Stephanie and Michelle… muaks… both of you are really really nice… love you girls so much. *shy*
>> That is the nice house we “lodged” during our trip to Perth… and the cozy bed of Michelle that we slept on.. the bed even had heater to keep us warm.. niceeee
We slept till 7.30am… woke up so early to do what? Work.. yes.. you are right… we had to work on our holiday… >.<
Since there were left over of KFC… we ate that as our breakfast while working + waiting for Stephanie to fetch us…
Turned out Michelle fetched us to Harbour Town cuz Stephanie was tied up with her work… Harbour Town Perth is one of the direct factory outlet in Perth. Missy and I loved this DFO so much compared to the DFO Spencer in Melbourne. Reason? They have Esprit and Nike which DFO Spencer doesn’t have… sad sad..
We had our lunch at one of the Japanese restaurant which was recommended by Michelle. The portion was quite small but tasted really nice.
I bought a bracelet for mom, a pair of Esprit Jeans @ $25 and Billabong Bag @ $15 here, while Missy bought a pair of Levi’s jeans only
We tried Icey Ice as per Michelle’s recommendation… it was a very unique ice-cream… more like snowy ice-cream than the creamy type… cool! We had our share of Mango Icey Ice….
Michelle fetched us home around 4.30pm and we rested awhile… Stephanie was busy with her work
We met up at a Japanese restaurant in town … Stephanie brought Jessie along… she even brought red wine … Hmm….yummy?
>> The Japanese food was really niceeeeee… fresh and nicely cooked… with the same price, I doubt I can find such nicely cooked Japanese food in Malaysia… ya ya… don’t count the conversion rate la
but their wasabi was not that spicy… hehe…
After dinner Michelle fetched us to get chips to bring back to Malaysia… yes… I bought a few packets of Australia famous chips – Smith’s back to Malaysia! Good things must share with friends and family ma…I bought for my besties and family… hehe… Missy bought Red Rocks chips for herself… I didnn’t like Red Rocks’ taste
Back home slept straight away … very tired….
———————————————————————————–
Next day… got ready to go to Aquarium of Western Australia – AQWA. Stephanie didn’t accompany us as she had work to do… so we got to find our plans of the day…
Entrance: $26.50… I can say… super not worth it!!!!! Even Langkawi Underwater World is sooooooooo much better and had more animals than AQWA…
It took us less than 2 hours to finish the “tour” in AQWA >.< really nothing to see lor… sien….
We walked to nearby Mall to have our lunch…. with the budget concept in mind… we had Kebab! Cheap + Big… really filling
Saw a very cool things at the Mall there…. COLD ROCK ICE-CREAM! which was similiar to Cold Stone in USA!!! OMG! Miss this ice-cream soooooooooooooooooooooooo much… Couldn’t express how happy I was!
We bought 1 small size to share… cost us around $5… which was almost the same price as in USA (USD)
>> The flavour of the ice-cream was Rum & Raisin (My favourite) + Strawberries.. thumbs up!
>> Bought a Billabong purse & Billabong handbag @ the mall…
Last minute shopping…
Stephanie fetched us at 4.15pm and went home to rest a while…
Night we went to this restaurant which was famous for steak… Michelle, Stephanie & Missy ordered Steak… I couldn’t take beef… so I ordered other things… which was sooooooo big portion >.< regretted… couldn’t finish it… >.<
>> Pictures were very blur >.< I didn’t want to use flash…. *sigh* will improve my skills for night pictures…My platter… all meat… >.< Should have ordered salad ![]()
Reached home 7.45pm… very sleepy d… but still drank beer with Stephanie and chatted with her…
So long Australia… gona miss you very very very much… cuz I have really fallen in love with you already… sad… 100 billion time sad…
P.S: Things I bought in AUS:
>> The easter egg’s chocolates were given by Stephanie

My holiday post #7: Adelaide day 2
My holiday post has been dragged for too long already… felt kind of bored already… hehe.. I have been dragging it for 2 months since I’m back from Australia.. so have to publish it asap… got more posts coming up
Back to my stay in Adelaide:
1. Stayed at Sean’s house which include Dancy and Angelynn. They have one amazing house. (Actually they just moved in there 2 weeks before our visit… lol)
>> Their guest room was just perfect. Soft pillow, nice bed and carpet.. so cold at night but with the comfortable blanket we totally forgot about the cold ^^
2. Ate bread on-the-way to Penfolds vinery. Just to save time cuz we needed to take around 1 hour drive there
>> We didnt go for wine tasting cuz i) need to pay ii) we don’t know how to taste… lol… not a wine person.. just bought 1 bottle of Penfold’s famous red wine for Sweet Stephanie
3. Cleland Wildlife Park! The park nearest along our route of the day. We wanted to go there take pictures with Koala, Wombat and Kangaroo! Close-up and not those in cage. It was really fun. And Missy and I really appreciate the company of Angelynn… she’s been there for don’t know how many times… thanks ya
Entrance $16 each
>> The Koala was soooooooo cute. The fur so soft! Love it! Btw, Koala is not a type of bear. It is in fact a type of marsupial. Kangaroo is also in the same family.. cute. So DON’T SAY YOU LIKE KOALA BEAR ALREADY. IT IS ONLY KOALA. NO BEAR
>> This wildlife park dont allow us hold the wombat, and we only got to see them sleeping >.<
>> Kangaroos there were damn lazy. Didn’t even want to hop to us >.< but their fur was really soft . Niceeeee… I even wanted to buy their skin back to Malaysia.. but kinda expensive. Missy didn’t allow me to buy
(Blame it on her… lol) Wait my next trip I sure will buy
>> Finally got to see Koala, Kangaroo, Wombat, Dingo, some mice… yipee!
4. Head to Handof – a German design’s town for our lunch.. which is 3pm >.<
>> Robin, Sean, Dancy met us in a restaurant. German food is famous for it’s sausage. But I can’t order it cuz most of them were mixed with beef .. I can’t take beef
They ordered platter that was shared among Angelynn and the rest… lol…
>> Missy and I shared the chicken
5. Went to Mount Loufty for sunset view. Quite nice and calm there
A breathtaking scnery
6. Dinner @ Vietname food restaurant… niceeeee
>> I had “Chicken Pork & Prawn dry noodle & Missy got fresh beef noodle. The portion was not very big… so we ordered a separate share.
Finally it was time for us go back to Perth… flying off from Adelaide International Airport to Perth Domestic Airport.. sad.. very sad… such a short time in Adelaide… *cry*
Anyway, thanks to Angelynn, Dancy, Sean, Robin and Vivien, we had a very great time in Adelaide and we do love to go back there again next time. Miss you guys lotsssss

My holiday post #7: Adelaide here I come!
After so long I’m still stucked in my AUS post.. sorry la.. damn busy you know? I still got so many things to blog about.. but pending cuz no time P.S (photoshop) all the pictures.. Don’t want to upload too many pictures so I have to combine them into 1… that needs time.. lots of it
Please click for a bigger and clearer view for all my P.S pictures ya…
Woke up early and went to Swanston St to buy souvenir for mom… then bought Chicken Parma sandwich for our breakfast. It tasted really nice. No picture for it cuz we ate it when we walked to Southen Cross Station. No extra hand to take out my camera for picture. lol…
Pei San accompanied us to Southern Cross Station for we were departing to Adelaide via Melbourne Airport.. So long our Melbourne holiday… so sad to leave Melbourne cuz I really love Melbourne.
Since we were taking budget airlines – Tiger Airways… so we have to check-in via their budget terminal T4 @ Melbourne International Airport… the terminal was really small… hmm… while waiting.. I saw a few people got some “eggs” of spongebob. Norrr the “eggs” where you put $1/$2 coins in the vending machine and will come out some keychain/handphone charms…
Spongebob is one of my favourite cartoon characters.. so I went to try my luck… used up $2 coin… but just got Patrick… so I asked Missy to try out hers. Turned out she got a spongebob design.. >.< so bad luck for me
Reached Adelaide airport was 1pm their local times.. Adelaide was 1.5 hours ahead of Malaysia during that time. Cute Angelynn, Kind Dancy and Great Sean were waiting for us already in her Honda Jazz. They fetched us to a furniture shop as they wanted to get a new furniture for their new house.
Then we went for our lunch – Dim Sum in Adelaide town:
After lunch.. it was drizzling already. Cute Angelynn drove us around Adelaide city for a close up look. Adelaide city was really a small town. 1 round less than 30 min drive. lol…
We stopped by Rundle street for a few hours of window shopping. Some city views:
We walked to Rundle Mall, South Australia Museum, University of Adelaide, etc. Can see lots of church along the way. When we were entering SA Museum, the guard told us we left 10 minutes for the visits. LOL.. we finished touring the Museum in less than 5 minutes. Lol… very empty there… luckily it was free-of-charge aka FOC.
>> Outside Rundle Mall there was a few cute piglets. Damn cute ler. And they are alright to put it on the street. Cool man!
Love this plant very much:
Next we drove to Gleneg Beach, where we met funny Robin + Vivien.. Robin is a friend of Angelynn, Dancy and Sean. And Vivien is Robin’s younger sister. So naturally they hang out together
It was really windy and cold @ Gleneg beach. We were all frozen. Missy said Gleneg Beach was nicer than St Kilda Beach @ Melbourne. Lol…probably when we went to St Kilda the weather was too hot. Don’t like it as well .. but the angmo loved it.. >.<
>> Look at Missy’s hair… too windy till the hair was so messy.. lol..
Angelynn and Dancy were freezing there. They just wore a thin clothes cuz the weather was fine in the morning. They didn’t expect a sudden change in the weather. lol…
Dinner time @ a Greek restaurant. Pardon my pictures here cuz I didn’t use the correct mode. It was in shutter mode when I snapped it… When I realized, it was too late
>> The dinner was great. Missy and I shared our meal as usual as it was way too big portion for us. I really salute the rest for finishing their dinner by themselves. >.< Big salute to Angelynn, Vivien and Dancy…
Anyway, we found the lemon lime bitters drink (same bottle, same design) in Cold Storage Ikano Power Centre KL … but can’t see it in Cold Storage Gurney Penang >.< It tasted more gassy than self-made lemon lime bitters Pei San ordered when we had our dinner at one Itallian shop @ Lygon Street.
Ok.. dinner done. Next destination was Mount Barker. A hill top for Adelaide night view.
By the time we reached Sean’s house was around 10pm already…stay tuned for his new house pictures.. will be uploaded in my next post. Damn cool house ler…. We sat down @ Sean’s kitchen for cocktail tasting and chit-chatting…
Slept at 2am.. drop-dead-tired again…
Angelynn said we only stopped by Adelaide for 1.5 days… so everything would be very rush for us… sad sad.. stupid Tiger Airways changed our flight la! We were supposed to stay in Adelaide for 2.5 days… *cry* Sorry ya Angelynn & Dancy… will visit you girls again next time

My holiday post #6: Last day in Melbourne
This day has come.. today will be my last day in Melbourne … I’m sure going to miss Melbourne very very much… which is expected one… I miss Melbourne now!
Okie.. We went to Queen Victoria’s Market early 9am… we took a tram there… cost us $ 6.80 each person… It was a very good day today .. sunny day..
>> Pei San & I in the Melbourne tram…
The entrance of Queen Victoria’s Market… this market is more happening over the weekend..
We had our breakfast in Queen Victoria’s Market.. very famous German food – sausage and very nice here… and there was really a lot of people waiting to buy the food… it was really humungous :
>> Cost us $6.80 cuz we added extra cheese… the topping that you see – the yellowish one.. is seasoned vege in German style… sour sour one.. but very nice.. hehe…
We sat down to have our breakfast while Pei San met up with her friends a while…there was a lot of sections in this market… dry section, fish section, meat section, fruits & vege section, clothing section, etc… cool right?
>> Dry section… consisted of a lots of sausages and seasoned food here… I was scared to snap pictures cuz don’t know whether I can snap or not.. so just curi curi snap.. lol…
Then we walked to the fruits & vege section… the one I love most was their capsicum cuz “it” was really very very huge and fresh!
>> Saw a few lads snap openly so I also follow.. lol..
the strawberries looked so nice.. so we bought 1 box @ $1.50 only! Later on we found some other stalls selling even cheaper – 3 box only $ 4 only when it was almost time to close down… cool
Ok! Finally came to the entrance of the clothing section..girl’s favourite!
>> Didn’t really snap a lot here cuz nothing much interesting.. lol.. I prefer their fruits & vege section more..
Didn’t buy a lot of things there.. just bought some souvenirs and nougats… their nougats were a bit cheaper than in Malaysia
Saw this doughnut car… a lot of people was lining up… Pei San said that it was very nice and we ought to try… so we bought 2 pieces to try @ $1.80… really very nice lor .. got strawberry fillings… nicee…
We walked home to put down our things…then we went to St Kilda’s beach… yes, beach! This day was a good weather to go to beach
>> Correction here.. my last post mentioned that Pei San’s prepared cheese platter for us.. but it was actually today – this post, which after we went home… lol… miss d cheese platter too much.. lol
Anyway… the tram tickets we bought earlier were a daily ticket… so we can still use it multiple times in a day… we took a tram to St Kilda’s beach…
It was quite windy when we reached there… look at Missy’s reaction then will know.. lol
I have no problem with the wind cuz I have my sunglasses on.. lol
Time for lunch.. we walked along the beach to the shoplots nearby… along the way, there was Luna Theme Park.. we didn’t go in cuz it was really small and there was a lot of bad comments on this Luna Theme Park
We were hunting for which shop to go for our lunch because there were just so many… and I want to eat salad… really need my vege intake
We finally concluded to dine in one of the restaurant which provided pie and salad.. lol…Missy ordered the chicken pie and I ordered Caesar salad! Yes!
Went back to Pei San’s house for a short nap.. lol.. woke up at 7pm for our dinner @ Lygon Street … gona meet up with Anthea
We simply chose one Italian restaurant for our dinner cuz Lygon street is famous for their Italian food…
Again I ordered chicken salad.. ya ya.. cuz I don’t like to eat so much meat.. Missy ordered Italian penne… super nice ler!
>> See I’m so fat compared to Anthea.. @_@
Lygon Street is not only famous for its Italian food.. it is also famous for its Italian Ice-cream – Gelati .. and also Brunetti – famous cake house!
That was around 9 something when we finished our dinner… we walked to the famous ice-cream shop which was recommended by someone – FREDO’s Ice-Cream… all the favourite ice-cream sold out >.< I just want to try their durian ice-cream la.. why so fast sold out one.. so I just simply ordered… and regretted so much cuz it was too sweet and I had to force myself finished it all … and to make things worst… Missy and I didn’t share this ice-cream.. meaning we ordered 2 FREDO’s ice-cream
cost us $ 4.80 each..
Then Pei San suggested that we walk to Brunetti.. she said the pastry there very nice and cute one.. Anthea also agreed on it
We were so full that we really couldn’t have any share of these nice and cute pastry.. but Pei San kept persuading Missy to try their tiramisu… so she bought one for a try… they even put it in a small container.. cute!
>> We didn’t manage to eat it that night… cuz really too full d… so we ate it the next day… it really tasted very nice
Phew… after so many blog posts of my Australia holiday… I next went to Adelaide after this Melbourne trip… so you guys stay tuned ya!

My holiday post #5: Melbourne City
Finally compiled the pictures for Melbourne City into a few pictures only… phew… I have chosen around 100 pictures just for this 1 day @ Melbourne City… really shocking ler… so I have to cut into a few smaller ones… lol…else one post has got 100 pictures??! @_@ Some of the pictures are too small… click for a bigger size ya ![]()
Anyway, back to my Melbourne day out.. the sweet Pei San took a day off to bring us around… she was very tired… so we woke up late… we got ready by 11am… walked to Melbourne City’s most famous lane for our breakfast:
>> Bought a bread sandwich @ $3.50 as our breakfast
We walked to Federation Square to eat our breakfast… and Pei San was enjoying the sunny day… it was quite warm today..
There were a lot of wild seagulls flocking around this area…
Just directly opposite the Federation Square is Flinder Street Station, one of the main train stations in Melbourne City
Some pictures of Melbourne city, which include the opera house, Yarra River, St Paul’s church:
Next is Treasury Garden:
These ducklings were sooo cute ler…
>> We spent a lot of time here… just to snap pictures… lol… Pei San was enjoying the sun at the bench…
After we were done with photos snapping, we crossed over to James Cook’s cottage.. saw an Ice-Cream van… kinda cute.. so we thought of giving it a try:
>> Cost us $ 4.50 for this @_@
On the way into James Cook’s cottage, we passed by a conservatory… inside were full of flowers
>> That’s Pei San with her back facing us LOL
Inside the conservatory:
James Cook’s cottage! Just a simple cottage… but also cost us $ 4.50 per entry:
Then we walked back to Melbourne City…the weather changed suddenly… from sunny to cloudy… so we got to walk faster.. they said Melbourne weather is very unpredictable… one day can have 4 seasons in it… Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter..
Walked past Melbourne City Museum, Windsor Hotel (Melbourne Oldest hotel), State Library and Parliament of Victoria:
>> Melbourne people have the tradition to snap their wedding pictures here… but I don’t know why..
Shop @ Supre .. nothing matched our needs… better shop in Malaysia cuz of the size and price problem… lol….
Next, Max Brenner! In case you don’t know… it is a must to try whenever you go to Melbourne.. They are famous for their CHOCOLATE! And they serve all kind of chocolates! Damn cool ler? But also very heaty
Tho I’m not a chocolate person…but I feel very excited to have my share of chocolate here… the waffle was just so crispy and tasty.. yummy!
>> We ordered “soukao” and “tutti fruity waffle”… they were just yummylicious! Cost us $18
After Max Brenner… we went to have a walk @ Melbourne Central.
Pei San suggested we try their cupcakes… so we bought the mini cupcakes and had a try… quite nice… not that sweet
$ 2 each
Been out for the whole day.. so we went home to have a rest… Sweet sweet Pei San prepared cheese platter for us to have a try at their different kind cheeses
The platter included 2 types of cheese, strawberry, some duno-what-dip, biscuit.. too excited till forgot to snap pic
Night we walked to Crown Casino for our dinner…on the way to Crown Casino:
We simply chose one of the cafes for our dinner… with a moderate price… that would be a food court type.. lol… budget ma
Again..shared this dinner with Missy… sharing is caring ma (don’t know what ads ei slogan)
>> The first one was ordered by Missy which was BBQ chicken + 2 sidelines…. the second one ordered by me was the chicken salad! We also ordered 1 mineral water and pumpkin soup.. cuz I feel like having a hot bowl of soup and they only have pumpkin ==” Anyway, this meal cost us $ 20.20
After dinner we walked around… went to Crown Casino’s hotel…the ceiling wall got musical light.. damn cool la!
Then we walked out to the riverside… there will be fireworks every hour @ Crown Casino… I thought was the real fireworks which I love very much… ended up was “fire” + “works”.. quite disappointing >.< It was just fire coming out from the poles
Crown Casino is famous for their Greco’s cheese cake as well… and there were so many varieties… but the cheese cake is quite costly… $9.50 per piece >.< I’m not a cheese cake person.. ya ya.. I don’t mind cheese but not cheese cake..
>> There were too many choices… strawberry cheese cake finally caught our attentions… I actually had my eyes on the strawberries only … lol
Anyway, Pei San went to meet up with her friends… so we walked around Crown Casino on our own…. with the Greco’s cheese cake in our hands… it was pretty hard to resist it .. lol….so… we found a place to sit down… and had our share of cheese cake + I went to buy a garden salad … ya ya.. again you will be wondering… why I always ordered salad? Cuz there was too much of meat here and no vege!!!! I’m a vege person… so I must have a lot of vege
Tada! My garden salad which cost me $9 ==” damn ex la…. *sigh*.. what to do…the food stalls were situated in Crown casino… and you all should know casino is famous for the expensive food… even the food was just a normal hawker food >.<
We got the house key from Pei San as she would be hanging out with friends till late night… and will walk home…
On the way out .. we saw this huge crab and lobster outside a restaurant…
I’m drop dead tired when I reached home… too much of walking .. lol… but it was an enjoyable day… and I really love Melbourne!
Coming up next is Queen Victoria Market + St Kilda’s beach + meet up with Anthea @ Lygon Street! Yipee! Stay tuned ya! xoxo

My holiday post #4: Great Ocean Road
Yipee! Going to Great Ocean Road… this is a must go trip for those who plan to go Melbourne… Twelve Apostles is super famous in Melbourne… the history of the place, the nature of mother earth, the magnificent view… OMG! I was anxiously checking my calendar each day. Strike off the day one after another. Just to wait for this particular day to arrive!
And yes, it finally came ^^
We woke up at 6.30am and got ready to walk to the travel agency. Oh ya! We used “Extragreen Holidays” service for this day trip. They have chinese tour guide and the price is quite reasonable
However for security reason, we didn’t pay via our credit card. We asked the cute and funny Angelynn bank-in to the travel agency’s bank account and we paid her when we reached Adelaide. Thanks to Angelynn we get to go there
The driver was a china man. He was quite friendly.. with a heavy china accent. First stop at the petrol station.. then the real first stop is at the gate of Great Ocean Road.
It was quite cold over there as it was near to the beach… but niceeee
>> The panorama software I used couldn’t stitch up these two pictures… >.< so I can only upload it like this…
On the way to Twelve Apostles, there were lots of wild koalas… the tour guide cum bus driver stopped for us to have a look… there was one which was quite near to us… however my cam’s optical zoom was not good.. the max is like this only >.< So that was our FIRST encounter with Koala! A not-to-be-missed protected animal in Australia.
Twelve Apostles was situated quite far from Melbourne city… till noon we had yet to reach there.. so we stopped at Apollo Bay for our lunch… Pei San recommended us to try their fish and chips… so we just tried one out
>> We had one fish and chips + hot chocolate @ $ 13.30… then I saw that we can ordered some ala carte.. so added additional: 2 calamari ring + 2 scallops + 2 prawns which cost $8.60 …. the best part… you got to pay for the sauces!!! @_@.. we didn’t pay for the sauces.. so we just had the most plain fish n chips + vinegar… oh! Vinegar was free
Finally we reached Twelve Apostles!! So tired…. lol… it was around 2pm… and you could actually pay for a helicopter ride to see the Twelve Apostles view… it cost around $90 if you go there by yourself… as the travel agency got some biz relationship with the management.. so we can get it at the price of $70.. which was quite worth it…
but… since we are on a budget trip…we sure didn’t go for the helicopter ride… lol…. we were busy snapping pictures man!
I brought my tripod to Australia… hmmm…this was the first time I brought it out.. cuz it was really troublesome.. lol….
>> Our first shot with the tripod! This is the best after a few attempts…. lol.. btw… I forgot to bring down my remote… so have to use the built-in timer… @_@.. what a waste… bad bad…
>> By the way, there weren’t twelve apostles anymore… one or two years back the 8th or 9th apostles fell down already due to the strong waves splashing on it every day and finally washed it off…. so now… left either 8 or 9 apostles there … so sad… mother nature took over
>> Another tripod shots
>> Shot taken by a tour mate.. he was using canon DSLR… and his DSLR very geng.. a Thai guy..
We took a lot of pictures here and missed the time… so when we walked back to the bus there.. the tour guide and whole bunch of tour mates were waiting for us… lucky we were not the last 2… lol… the thai guy and his friend were the last two
>> click for a bigger view of the panorama
The view and this place were really very very very breathtakinglyw beautiful and we took a lot of pictures here as per Pei San’s bro advice.. lol…I’m sure to go there again for the second time… the second time will be flying with the helicopter!
Next stop @ Lord Ard … there was a story at this place… back in 17 centuries, there was a big ship from Ireland travel to Melbourne… the crew saw Melbourne and expected to reach Melbourne the next day.. therefore the night before they celebrated in the ship… however… the weather turned bad that night… the ship sank and 54 people in the ship died.. only 2 people survived – Jack and Eva…Jack was a sailor and Eva was a rich man’s daughter…. Eva’s family members died in this disaster… she stayed in Melbourne for 3 years and left to Ireland after that… Jack and Eva weren’t together due to their family status…
>> Story telling from our tour guide… lol… so sad….but the view was really nice…
>> click for a bigger view of the panorama
Final stop – London Bridge… there was another story here… back then… there was one couple pak tor (dating) over here… but so unlucky of them.. they dropped into the sea… it took the rescue crew 6 hours to save them… there were paparazzi and reporters waiting to get the latest news there.. however these two people just sped off with their car once they were rescued up.. so the reporters and paparazzi chased after them… only to find out that they were actually married couple whom were having an affair at that moment…
Don’t ask me the ending as I don’t know about it… lol… I’m interested in the place and view itself only
>> click for a bigger view of the panorama
Phew… there goes our day trip….last stop at petrol station… we were quite hungry at that time… so bought ourselves a wrap sandwich $ 2.50
… reached at Melbourne city 7.30pm… we walked around Chinatown for some Melbourne souvenirs while waiting for Pei San to get off from her work….
Dinner @ Stalactiles – Greek Food…
I ordered appetizer platter + peach drinks and Missy ordered lamb souvaki which were on Pei San’s treat .. thanks to the thoughtful Pei San
>> Anyway, we couldn’t finish our dinner… the portion was just too big… first lesson to learn – Do-Not-Order-One-Meal-Each… better share if you are a small eater
Coming up next is Melbourne City tour! Stay tuned ^^

My holiday post #3: Melbourne
3 hours ++ flight + 2 hours time difference… finally we reached Melbourne airport. It was early 7am!!! Freaking cold out there! The coldness reached till my stomach which made me feel soooo chilled… even when talking to Missy there was breath vapor coming out from our mouths…super cold @_@
As we were taking Tiger airways (budget airlines), the arrival terminal is super lousy. There was just a simple rooftop to cover yourself. No staff can be seen nearby. The toilet was like those temporary toilet.. And once you got out from the “door”, it was a car park welcoming you. >.<
We walked to the main terminal of Melbourne International Airport to have our breakfast.
>> Homemade soup of that restaurant – Hidetide
tasted quite nice
>> Big breakfast panino.. the bacon was quite salty… price for this meal was AUS 12.50
>> Waiting for Missy to snap this picture… waited till I’m frustrated … so looked so bored
Then we took skybus into the Melbourne city. The skybus cost us AUD 30 for a return ticket.
Reached Southern Cross Station. There were lots of people around. This is one of the 3 largest train stations in Melbourne city. Another one is Flinder Street Station. One more I have forgotten the name. lol…
We walked to Missy’s friend (Pei San)’s apartment, which is 3 blocks away from Southern Cross Station… phew… quite tiring with the big bag at my back… >.<
Got the keys from the housing agent cuz Pei San was working that day…
It was a cozy apartment
>> I like the toilet the most.. lol…
We took a bath and nap then only went out for the walk around city
Our first choice: Shopping! It was the closest to Pei San’s house and we were not familiar to the road.. lol.. Direct Factory Outlet-Spencer here we come!
There were a lot of shops there.. but not the brands I really like.. sad… the one has the brand I like is nearby airport.. which is too far for us… *sigh*…
Kinda hungry so we got our lunch first…
>> Powerade again.. lol… kakaaka…..
>> Spicy Chicken with Rice by Australia-Chinese. Quite a big portion so we shared it
Cost us AUD 13.30 for this meal
Bought myself a pair of FILA sports shoe. Not very cheap. so so only. AUD 60. Keep it for Chinese New Year next year.. lol… wonder if I can keep it that long.. hmmm…..
Tried a CK jeans… AUD 65.. I do like it… but Missy said the jeans makes me shorter… so I didn’t buy it.. Missy found 1 which suits her well… but she complained too expensive… so didn’t buy… >.< which later she regretted so much after a few attempts on different jeans.. lol…
Some snap shots of Melbourne:
We just simply got a Melbourne city map and walked to Dockland… lol…
>> City tram
We hopped on one of the free tourist tram… lol… brought us round the city…
Got no where to go…so just went to Waterfront
Kept walking and walking….. so not used to walk so much.. lol…
Wanted to see night view of Melbourne… so we walked pass Crown Casino… there were lots of food over there… wow! We just couldn’t decide which food for our dinner.. lol…
Finally we had our dinner @ Pizzahead… cost us AUD 14.40 :
>> Their pizza really big .. and tasted very yummy as well …
Reached to the top of sight viewing building – Eureka Tower within seconds… cost us another AUD 16.50 @_@
All I can see up there was the night view of Melbourne city… there were lights every where…
This Eureka Tower even has a special section, where you can view Melbourne city below your legs. It is called “The Edge“.. additional charges implies. We didn’t go for it as I got height phobia… it is damn scary ok? If the glasses broken then I sure die already… ya ya.. I can still go for roller coaster… but that is different. That even I’m scared I will still go play.. lol…
Anyway, we stayed there for quite long… cuz I took a nap there while waiting for Pei San got off her work.. lol… too free already and all the shops were closed…
>> Just posted some night view here.. cuz all too dark already… well.. we can see Pricewaterhousecoopers’s building from here.
>> My legs actually shaking over here… have to sit down… scary…
After that we walked back to Pei San’s apartment… waited her for sometime… so we went to Subway for a drink…
There goes our first day in Melbourne…
We were going to Great Ocean Road the next day. Pretty excited because we booked this day trip online. Cost us AUD 69… >.<

Ok, back to my day… Stephanie brought us to Perth Chinatown… for a breakfast… the shop opened at 9.30am @_@ so late… we had our first dim sum in Perth
>> This special dish can be found in all dim sum restaurants in Australia.. we had another one in Adelaide.. will post it up in Adelaide post

It was a good day.. nice weather… with the sun… I love Australia’s sky.. the cloud was so nice
Stephanie drove around 1 hour to reach Araluen… a botanic garden where we can see tulips ^^ niceeee…. thanks mate!

>> It is definitely SPRING! Sakura! wow!No need go to Japan already… but if got chance I still want to go Japan see their cherry blossom *wink*
Inside the souvenir shop:
>> I like this because it used real wood to burn… cool!
Tried out different shutter speed for the small waterfall in front of the souvenir shop… and the result was amazing
>> I definitely love the 1/10 sec picture best
More pictures to go:
We stopped by a coffee shop for a drink… Stephanie had her cappuccino and I had a chai latte… there was a lot of people in the park as well…

Boab tree - Australia Aborigines’ tree:

>> Australia aborigines believed that by boiling the fruits of this tree, is the cure to gastric… hmm… this tree can be found in Australia’s desert

My holiday post #1: Departure from Penang to Perth
Finally I’m gona reveal where I’ve been to this 2 weeks.. lol… guess many of you have found the answer from my last post… sure yeah with the kangaroo pictures… who doesn’t know right?
Yes, I’m in Australia for 10 days! Stopped by KL for 3 days shopping spree! It was a great trip. Reason? It was supposed to be a budget trip but we have friends that added spices to our holiday + enjoyed myself very very much in Australia + bought a lot of things (not in Australia, but in KL.. lol)
Well.. in short… I really love Australia very much. The weather was just fine.. tho is considered very cold (for Spring) to me (but not the locals >.<)… but I really like the city especially Melbourne very much.
Special thanks to wonderful Stephanie for keeping us company and let us stay in her house, the sweet Michelle for fetching us around and letting us sleep in her bed with heater (sweet), the friendly Jessie for having dinner with us, the nice Melisa for staying up to open the house door for us, the thoughtful Pei San for bringing us around and let us sleep in her bed as well, the cute and funny Angelynn for showing us Adelaide and fetching us around, the kind Dancy for accompanying us, the great Sean for letting us sleep in his nice and new guest room, the funny Robin + Vivian for adding spices to our holiday, the warm Anthea and Alex for a short meet up in Melbourne … in case I forgot anyone I’m so sorry.. don’t mean to… but you guys really make a good host and excellent friends… I enjoyed my holiday to the fullest and you all had created great memories for my 2009 holiday. Muaks and hope to see you guys again ^^
We were kinda worried on the H1N1 virus… so wore mask:
>> No one else wore… non of the Australian in our flight wore mask.. @_@…
Since we had around 7 hours in LCCT before our flight to Perth.. which was in the midnight 12am >.< … so we hang around LCCT… nothing much I can say.. but Missy said it has improved a lot since the last time she’s been there… hmm… more shops and restaurant… lol….
The McDonald is still there (sure la!) Taste of Asia also still there… added Marrybrown, Old Town Kopitiam, KFC and some souvenir shops…
Had our dinner in Taste of Asia.. Missy ordered fried bihun special – which is fried bihun + curry chicken..RM 9.90.. I ordered Noodle soup.. RM 9.90 as well..
Taste? Not bad.. and quite big bowl as well… Missy’s fried bihun was very dry for her
My camera battery ran low around 7pm… so we found ourselves the power point and sat down to wait for it to get fully-charged…
After walking around LCCT, we realized one thing… a lot of foreigners were really daring. They just dare to leave their luggage unattended and check out the souvenir shop/newspaper shop @_@ Amazing isn’t it? Hello, this is Malaysia. Not your country which is safe from theft!
Saw this while charging my battery:
Since there was ample time before we boarded the plane.. we went to Old Town for the toast bread
Finally it was time to go on board.. the Air Asia X
>> erm… picture was actually taken when we were on the way back from Perth… cuz it was 12am in the morning and I’m supposed tobe in my bed!
The in-flight entertainment looks quite promising.. just that you need to pay RM 30 if you want to use it.. they have lots of movies, songs, games… not bad if you are taking long flight.. unless if you plan to sleep all the way then no point buying this.. lol…
Meal I pre-ordered.. quite disappointing as it is just chicken + potato + 1 mineral water and cost RM 20 @_@
After 5 hours we finally reached Perth International Airport! Phew… backache already… *blek*
Anyway.. going through the immigration is super stressed up… so scared they detain us for detailed question… lol… they even have dogs to smell on your luggage.. just in case you try to be funny… lol… and the dog is Jack Russel… cool isn’t it? and it is very cute as well…
The immigration chic that brought the dog out was also very cute and pretty *wink*
