Movie Review: Iron Man 3

This is the best of all the 3 Iron Man show ever! The robots are all so amazing especially the virtual one. Niceeee!

Not wanting to be a spoiler, I shall keep my post short. lol.

Anyway, this is really a must watch!! Go watch it!

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Movie Review: Oblivion

Hmm… this one… doesn’t have really clear story line & a bit confusing.

My friend already preempt me b4 I go to watch that the movie is not nice. I think I went to watch it with not much of expectation, and the movie turned out to be quite ok. 🙂

However, some part of the movie very confusing. Some people might need to google for the storyline to understand the whole story fully.

Anyway, you can download it instead of watching it in cinema 😀

A court martial sends a veteran soldier to a distant planet, where he is to destroy the remains of an alien race. The arrival of an unexpected traveler causes him to question what he knows about the planet, his mission, and himself.

Movie Review: The Host

This is a futuristic movie where the parasite stays in human body and controls their mind to make a better world.

The main lead – Melanie is caught by the “Alien” and the parasite in her body is off pure soul. The parasite helps her to get away from the “Alien” and found her brother & boyfriend.

It’s really a touching story where I cried for so many times in the movie >.<|| Didn’t expect this to happen from the trailer. So sad, so touching but definitely worth to watch it.

THE HOST is a riveting story about the survival of love and the human spirit in a time of war. Our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed.

Movie Review: GI Joe Retaliation

I’m quite excited to watch this before it came. So I rushed for it after I came back from Guang Zhou.

However, I’m super disappointed with the movie, due to -> *spoiler time* CHANNING TATUM DIED!! Omg! He only appear for the first 10 minutes then he’s gone. Left behind all new character like Dwayne Johnson & Bruce Willis.

This sequel also has more scenes for Storm Shadow (Byung-Hun Lee). He is still so good looking! And his body is awesome!

Other than that, it’s just a lot of action packs, which didn’t entice me cuz it’s not nice without Channing Tatum. *sigh*

Anyway, if you are into action pack, you could consider watching it. If not, go for downloads! 😀

A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with HASBRO, commenced the di Bonaventura production of G.I. JOE: RETALIATION.

In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, from a screenplay by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe characters.

Movie Review: Jack the Gaint Slayer

Didn’t expect this to be a nice show but it turned out to be better than Oz the Great Magician!! And I watched it in RM 12 only as compared to the Oz I watched it in SGD 11. Heartache cuz Oz not nice and still I’m paying a higher price for the ticket. *Sad*

Anyway, this is done in a quite lively form. More interesting as compared to our childhood story book with the action on screen.

It’s good to watch this with kids. ^^

An age-old war is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants.

Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the long-banished giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult), into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend…and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

Acclaimed filmmaker Bryan Singer directs the 3D action adventure “Jack the Giant Slayer,” starring Nicholas Hoult as Jack. The film also stars Eleanor Tomlinson as Princess Isabelle; Stanley Tucci as the deceitful Roderick; Ian McShane as Isabelle’s father, the besieged King Brahmwell; Bill Nighy as General Fallon, the ferocious two-headed leader of the giant army; and Ewan McGregor as the loyal knight Elmont.

Singer directed from a screenplay by Darren Lemke and Christopher McQuarrie and Dan Studney, story by Darren Lemke & David Dobkin. The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, David Dobkin, Bryan Singer, Patrick McCormick and Ori Marmur. The executive producers are Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Garcia, Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Michael Disco and John Rickard.

Butterfly farm with family

Had a great CNY this year… especially when our baby girl celebrated her first CNY with us.

Since the mom need a time-off , we brought the boy to have a walk.

Actually we are looking for toy museum. But we are not sure where it has moved to. So we ended up in butterfly farm.

It has been years since our last visit to here. That was when dad was still alive. And so many things have changed.

They have more butterflies there and the whole place were decorated with much effort being put in.

And they even have charges for foreigners and local! I just love this. This should be implemented in such a way so that the locals can enjoy this place without feeling reluctant to visit this place due to the price.

Even for locals we have to pay RM 18 for adult, RM 13.50 for children, RM 10 for senior citizen. Hahaha… mom is considered senior citizen d lor. ^^ As for the foreigners, they will have to pay … I think is RM 27 for adult. Can’t remember the price for children. :p

They even have a cartoon for kids to watch and it’s really funny video clips. Talks about dragonfly vs bee. Not much of education but it was really funny and the kids & adults enjoyed it! (no pic on that though)

It was a hot day and lucky I’m dressed in a light attire to beat the heat. ^^

The boy definitely enjoyed himself as he got this time out and he took a lot of pictures there as well. Lastly he also got one ice-cream to chill himself by the end of the little tour.

And we the adults had fun too!

Just realized I didn’t take picture with my sis cuz no1 help us take it >.<|| Mom’s hand too shaky and same goes to the boy. Haha… too bad. We just need a tripod next time!

Family time rocks!

CNY day 3 ~ Lunch at Gurney

It’s still a public holiday on CNY day 3. Since we have no plans of visiting people, we went to Gurney for a walk and lunch.

We went to take pictures with the CNY deco first.

We walk around and many shops still not open yet. Many people still in holiday mood 🙂

Lunch @ Sakae sushi. I love this picture the most. The lighting is perfect, makes me pretty in it. haha.

Last picture, camwhore with my nephew. 🙂

Next up will be visiting butterfly farm 😀
