CNY day one

We usual visit our grandma house on CNY day one. This year we have most of our relatives back here. We even have our aunt and cousins working in overseas back home!

This year is quite exciting as we have Ke Xin with us. She’s so excited to meet all the new faces in the family that she didn’t sleep much :p

And we all connected thru FB. That’s the greatest invention to connect people! πŸ˜€

It’s really nice to be able to catch up with all of them. Probably when you have reached certain age, connecting with your family members is something seems more important now.

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone. Hope you enjoy your eating, playing, and chit chatting! ^^

CNY Bai Nian with best friends

Have our gathering on chu er since both of my girls can only make it this day. πŸ™‚

We went to early dim sum @ Lip Sin garden.

With such a little food, the 3 of us also can’t finish. Such a small eater right? :p

After that we went to Sherine’s house to play with her boy, our godson.

It’s so hard to capture a nice picture of him cuz he just can’t sit still. Especially when he’s hungry n sleepy. hahah. So we kept capturing a few till he really fed up with us. It’s just like a candid shot for us.

Then I took it with my godson alone. Picture quality took using my front camera was bad. But still acceptable. πŸ™‚

Haha… it’s quite hard to capture him smiling. However he’s still adorable.

Till we see again, love them all! Muaks!

Movie Review: Hansel & Gretel, The Witch Hunter

I like Jeremy Renner and the trailer was awesome.

However, turned out that the movie not so interesting only. A bit boring. I actually thought Hansel & Gretel will have some special power like maybe they can fly / heal / immortal but they are just like normal human beings. Kick once already knocked out like normal human >.<||

A lot of computer graphic in this. A bit fake. And it was really short. However, it’s nice to watch if you have nothing to watch in the cinema. πŸ™‚

Synopsis:

After getting a taste for blood as children, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) have become the ultimate vigilantes, hell bent on retribution. Now, unbeknownst to them, Hansel and Gretel have become the hunted, and must face an evil far greater than witches…their past.

Movie Review: CZ 12

Β Just like usual Jackie Chan’s movie, a lot of action & funny scenes. But the opening gear that Jackie Chan wore was really impressive. Maybe they should use that in 007. muahaha.

Anyway, nothing big to brag about. Still an acceptable movie.

Synopsis:

The film revolves around Asian Hawk in his final mission, in which he must collect the 12 statue heads of the Chinese Zodiac to save the world. One may remember that Chan used the Chinese Zodiac symbols as the basis for the first season of his animated series, JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES, back in 2000.

Movies Review: The Impossible

My company got free tickets for all of us to watch a show in Platinum Suite by Yahoo. First time in my life I have the chance to watch a movie in Platinum Suite. So excited~! Normal price is $38 >.<||

The cinema was way too dark so I didn’t manage to take pic. Anyway, the chair is so comfy!!! It’s a huge sofa where you can adjust to sleeping position when you watch the movie. So cool & relaxing!

However, we have chosen “The Impossible” because there weren’t any nice show to watch. *sigh*. Really a waste. If it delay a week longer, then we could have watch “Hansel & Gretal” πŸ™‚

Anyway, the show was great. Really touching and it feels real. And… most of the girls cried. lol.

Not exactly worth to watch in the cineme, not to say a $38/show one. It’s really a nice experience to be in the platinum suite. πŸ™‚

Come to think of it, putting ourselves in their shoes, will we ever make it in such disaster? Well, not everyone able to find back their loves one therefore please appreciate what we have and spend more time with our loved ones & family. ^^

Synopsis:

The real-life account of a family’s horrific ordeal, vacationing at a beach resort in Thailand when the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004 hit. Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts are the husband and wife, and Tom Holland, 14 at the time of production, is the eldest among the three boys (and amazing in a physically and emotionally demanding role). A daunting tale of survival and family from Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphange)

Goodbye 2012, welcome 2013

Wow, it’s been close to 2 months I didn’t blog. So sorry that I neglected you my diary.

Many things happened on the last 2 months and it really kept me too busy to blog. I have watched so many movies but I have yet to post them up. Been to a holiday trip but yet to post them as well. Most importantly is that 2012 was over and I still not in the mood of welcoming 2013 >.<\\\

In these things that happened in 2012, many are not to be said out loud. Unhappiness, stress, doubts, dilemma all kicked in at one go. Putting me in a difficult situation where I just wish it doesn’t happen in the first place.

Anyway, I’m glad that my angel came in the right time. She’s adorable and she’s my sweet heart. She warms my heart and give me strength to move on. And she is my lovely princess Ke Xin.

Having her is the happiest thing in 2012. She touches me with her fighting spirit. We all shower her with the love that we could give her. Pray for her day and night when she’s in ICU. Hold her tightly in my arms when I saw her.

She’s the best things that could have happened to me. I love you Ke Xin.

Movie Review: The Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn Part 2

Omg! This is the great of all! Not too much of the love story but it’s more on how they raise their daughter & protect her from being taken away by Volturi.

However, there was a twist in the movie than the original story. Nonetheless, it was nice!

Synopsis:

After the birth of Renesmee, the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi.

Movie Review: Skyfall

Image: impawards.com

I quite like this James Bond show. I think Daniel Craig did very good in here, compared to the previous 007 movies. This… you can see he’s old and he’s weak. However, his determination to save the world was there. Damn cool~!

Ya ya… this was an old post… cuz I’m busy adding Donnie Yen to be the latest post!!! ^^

Synopsis:

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
