Movies Review: The Impossible

My company got free tickets for all of us to watch a show in Platinum Suite by Yahoo. First time in my life I have the chance to watch a movie in Platinum Suite. So excited~! Normal price is $38 >.<||

The cinema was way too dark so I didn’t manage to take pic. Anyway, the chair is so comfy!!! It’s a huge sofa where you can adjust to sleeping position when you watch the movie. So cool & relaxing!

However, we have chosen “The Impossible” because there weren’t any nice show to watch. *sigh*. Really a waste. If it delay a week longer, then we could have watch “Hansel & Gretal” 🙂

Anyway, the show was great. Really touching and it feels real. And… most of the girls cried. lol.

Not exactly worth to watch in the cineme, not to say a $38/show one. It’s really a nice experience to be in the platinum suite. 🙂

Come to think of it, putting ourselves in their shoes, will we ever make it in such disaster? Well, not everyone able to find back their loves one therefore please appreciate what we have and spend more time with our loved ones & family. ^^

The real-life account of a family’s horrific ordeal, vacationing at a beach resort in Thailand when the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004 hit. Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts are the husband and wife, and Tom Holland, 14 at the time of production, is the eldest among the three boys (and amazing in a physically and emotionally demanding role). A daunting tale of survival and family from Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphange)

Movie Review: Skyfall

Image: impawards.com

I quite like this James Bond show. I think Daniel Craig did very good in here, compared to the previous 007 movies. This… you can see he’s old and he’s weak. However, his determination to save the world was there. Damn cool~!

Ya ya… this was an old post… cuz I’m busy adding Donnie Yen to be the latest post!!! ^^

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Movie Review: Resident Evil – Retribution

This is really disappointing. The story line is almost the same from part 1 till now. Kinda boring to have the same story line over and over again.

Well, not much of big hoohaa for this.Didn’t really impress me. The action all just as usual.

Movie Review: The Expandables 2

Watched this when I went back to Penang…It’s a big disappointment!!!

No special plot for this movie and the big attraction is only there are so many famous old actors in it >.<|||

The starting scene was totally not nice. The gun shooting of the soldiers causes the blood spilled like nobody business and it’s so fake!

Like I said, there is no story line. And Jet Li is only in there for the first 15 min of the show and he only got 4 scripts >.<|||

Epic fail!

Don’t watch it if you haven’t watch. Waste of time. If you want, go download it.

Movie Review: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Heard my boss said that this was an interesting show so I just went to watch it. Well, turned out that it was quite interesting. Some scenes which were a bit shocking. Just felt a bit weird that Abraham Lincoln can also be a vampire hunter before he was the president. lol.

Rate: 7/10

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of one of the greatest US presidents, and the untold story that shaped a nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the bloodthirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead.

Movie Review: The Dark Knight Rises

Heard that this movie so so only on the day before I went for it… Hmm…. but when I watched it, it really amazed me. The story might be a bit too long, but it’s the complete story of batman. Cat woman, robin, batman are out in this movie.

The most interesting part was at the end, when I have no expectation on the bad guy was in fact another person.

Wow! Worth my $12 watching digital for this great show. Cool~! This is definitely a must watch and best show of the year!

Rate: A+

Movie Review: The Amazing Spiderman

Saw a lot of good review about this movie… so went to watch it…. well… I don’t really like the scenes of the spiderman jumping here and there proving he’s spiderman… Other than that, it is a much complete of how Peter Parker’s life before he became spiderman…

However, it’s really weird that this Peter Parker doesn’t have the power of producing his own cobweb… he needs to use his own technology to produce the cobweb… weird weird…

Anyway, not a bad show to watch but not super interesting though. 🙂

Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors, his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero
